A physical therapist with over 20 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports recovery, and women’s health

I’m Pam Gatewood. My mission is not to “fix” people, but to help them reconnect with their bodies, move with confidence, and discover the small daily changes that can create big, lasting impacts.

My whole-body approach blends advanced skills like manual therapy, dry needling (Levels I–III), lymphatic drainage cupping, visceral mobilizations, Pilates-based rehab, kinesiotaping, and pelvic floor therapy into personalized care for every client.

Whole-body healing in a safe, supportive space

My own experience as a mom and an athlete — recovering from both a C-section and a VBAC — showed me firsthand how vital postpartum and pelvic floor support is. That journey deepened my passion for creating a safe, comfortable space where women feel understood and supported. At the same time, my work extends beyond women’s health to athletes, active adults, and anyone seeking lasting pain relief, balance, or improved mobility.

My Story

Growing up on a small family farm in Pennsylvania taught me that you have to work hard and respect others to be able to get the job done. After volunteering at a local physical therapy office, I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a physical therapist.

My career began in outpatient orthopedics and worker’s compensation before moving into private practice. After having two children of my own, I noticed a need for Postpartum Rehabilitation including visceral mobilizations, closing of the pelvic bones, and intervaginal massage.

Today, I’m the proud owner of Changing the Game Physical Therapy, LLC, where I bring together everything I’ve learned to offer a unique, compassionate style of care. I like to treat my clients how I would want to be treated because I too have had many injuries.

Outside the clinic, I love life in Colorado with my husband Erik, our two incredible daughters, Riley and Taylor, and our cats, Shine and Cloud. Whether I’m mountain biking, skiing, running, camping, or simply enjoying nature, I’m reminded every day of the resilience of the human body — and I bring that same spirit into my work.
